Place a familiar blanket or towel in the carrier. Not
only will it provide something soft for them to lie on,
the familiar scent will be comforting.

5 | Snacks & Water
I don’t like to give my cat a lot of food on travel days,
but I always make sure to have something for him
to munch on and offer him water throughout the
trip.

6 | Transition Toys
Be sure to bring along a toy. They’ll have lots of energy after traveling in the carrier and will be ready
to stretch and run and play.
