Take a day or weekend trip
For a day out, The Hunter Valley wine region is a
short drive from Sydney and there are many tours
you can take to go wine tasting for the day. Keep
an eye out on discount sites like Groupon, Cudo
or Living Social to get a great price. Alternatively,
rent a cycle and take a tour!
Sydney is close to some of the most scenic areas of
New South Wales, so it doesn’t take long to get out
of the city to see some of the ‘real’ Australia. Take
a weekend out bushwalking and camping in the
Blue Mountains where you can relax by a campfire
and watch for Australian wildlife such as kangaroos and wallabies.
