3 years ago, she decided to start exploring
the world and has no plans to stop.

I DIDN’T leave the States until I was
21. I had an unused passport with my
baby picture in it from 1990.

I updated my passport and went to
London for New Years for 10 days.
I had fun but it was just like any other
vacation, except more expensive and
freezing cold.
I decided there must be more to travel
so on my return, I sold my car, packed a
carry on size roller bag – which I quickly
bartered for a backpack when I got to
Thailand – and decided to travel until
my money ran out.
I visited Europe, Thailand, South Africa,
Brazil and Venezuela with a 3 month
adventure to Africa.
