HOME & KTICHEN OFFICE Jessica Volbrecht Madison, Wisconsin GGI Community Manager Athens, Greece ‘I’m a Girl Gone International because I thrive on changes and challenges in life. Each time I meet a new person or a new culture, I watch myself grow and my mind broaden.’ What brought you to your new city? I met a boy while travelling and the rest is history! What has inspired your office? I love being reminded of the good times I have had in the past so I’ve decorated my office with mementos from my travels and use those memories as inspiration for my future. It is my office, after all, where the work happens, so travel related items are good motivation. Why is your office is an important part of your ‘home’? Everything else in my apartment has been bought in Greece as part of my ‘new life’. The items in my office have been brought here in suitcases over the years either from my home in the US or as souvenirs from travels. I recently bit the bullet and had some frames shipped over that were sitting in my Dad’s basement. Now my room is completely ‘me’. In my mind, this equals ‘home’.
