Expert Tips
High Heels
In the past I would’ve relegated high heels to the rookie error column, however
having seen many a fashionable lady breezily cycling to nightclubs and work
alike in high heels, this is achievable. The trick is to pedal with the ball of your
foot rather than the arch. With a little practice you’ll have it down in no time.
Knot It
Windy day and wearing a skirt - just ask yourself ‘what would MacGyver do?’
Gather the excess fabric and tie it in a loose but sturdy knot at the front or the
side, to keep it out of the way and wrinkle-free.
Windswept Hair
Riding a bike can actually give you the natural windswept, voluminous hair that
can take ages to create with conventional methods. Before you leave the house
flip your hair upside down and apply some hair spray. Then pull it into a braid
from the neck down. When you reach your destination remove the elastic for
effortless waves.
