My food journey

My 3 years at NYU were all steaks , burgers and all night partying . By senior year , my body had had enough . I started to crave plant based products , raw food and green juices . Very quickly , the lethargy lifted .
I started to country-jump after college . I wanted to travel alert and full of energy without missing out on the joy of eating my way through each new culture . So , with each move , I sought out fresh local produce , explored and embraced each country ’ s healthy eating practices .
What have I learned about eating having lived in different countries ? Nothing is ‘ normal ’ and there is no one prescribed perfect way to eat . We all have to create our very own food culture that always makes us feel balanced , healthy and happy . Then it becomes easy to adapt it to our international lifestyle .

Blending Passion and Profession

It wasn ’ t long after graduation that I realised that the corporate life was not for me and that my passion for health was my calling in life . I studied health coaching online at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and started writing a business plan for a raw , organic juice cleanse company . My original plan was to open the juice company in New York . By chance , I was visiting family in the South of France and went to a meditation group where I met Rhonda . Our friendship sparked immediately . It turned out she was a girl gone international too , starting a raw , organic juice company in Monaco – and asked me to join her as her business partner . So , I did !
We are officially launching Harmonie Juice Company in late summer 2013 .
