The biggest fashion influence has been my new friends . Austria is the eighth country I ’ ve lived in and I see the world as my home . I ’ ve adapted my style to the city . I checked out typical Viennese and fashion magazines and I managed to identify a certain typical classic style here .
I wouldn ’ t normally wear a cocktail dress to work but here it feels like you have to be dressed up every day , as the chances are high you might get a last minute invite to the opera or out for dinner .
I avoid high heels . Vienna ’ s city centre is just horrible for high heels with all the cobblestones . You cannot wear expensive shoes without them being ruined so I have been wearing a lot of ballerina flats with skinny jeans .
I ’ ve had to give up comfy jogging pants and my baggy jeans . The Viennese watch what they wear and every day is like a fashion show .
The biggest trend at the moment is suprisingly , Nike sneakers . They are colourful and comfy . Another trend is nail art and right now , everyone has neon coloured nails . A French manicure is so last season .
