Wait List For Troops!

We have a number of girls in all age levels looking for troops to join in the area!

Horse Camp and Leader-Daughter Fun!

The last month has been filled with many great adventures for our girls!

We started off in March with our yearly Leader- Daughter camp. This camp allows girls who usually have to share their mother’ s with others to spend some special time enjoying one-onone time with their favorite Moms / Leaders!

This year we took a more laid back approach and allowed for a large amount of free time and girl-led activities. Friday night saw a glow in the dark egg hunt / night hike with some great prizes. By Saturday the sun had some out and many of the girls got to go on hikes throughout the Mountain Dale Camp area. Some even ven- tured up Heart Attack Hill! Letter boxing, crafts and hiking were the flavor of the weekend and girls really enjoyed the mellowness of it all.

Two short weeks later we held our service unit Horse Camp for Brownies and Juniors on the weekend of April 13th.

Girls got to ride a horse( some for the first time!), swing across a gully on a huge swing, ride on a“ buckin” tractor ride, learn about tack / care, horse finances, colors and types of horses and even found Snipes in their beds!

Each girl came home with a camp shirt, a Try-it or badge, tons of memories and new friends!

Spring Re-Registration Drive
