The human body changes drastically during the teen years. Along with obvious changes like body hair and odor, breast and testicular development, menstruation, and acne, there are less obvious changes in our sense of self. These changes are confusing enough, be comfortable with them before adding sex to the mix

HOW TO PREVENT GETTING AN STI (SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS)

-Use a condom everytime your sexually active

- Use birth control that are in the forms of; cream & jelly - this will kill many STI germs.

- Talk to your partner about previous partners and use of needles, or steroids.

-Before having sex ,look at your partner for any signs , rash ,sore , redness or discharge around the genitals.

- Get checked for any STIs when you have a physical.

- Know the signs and symptoms beforehand.

COMMON STI'S:

- Chlamydia

- Syphilis

- Gonorrhea

- Herpes
