Under the “ Chipset ” tab disable VT-d and Internal Graphics .
Here you can disable settings or features which you don ’ t use . If you don ’ t use the integrated graphics card you should set “ Internal Graphics ” to disabled . Leave this enabled if you are not using a discrete graphics card , otherwise your screen will be black .

Follow Step 2 under “ The simple and easy way ” to load your X . M . P . The formula for the frequency of your CPU is CPU Base Clock * CPU Clock Ratio . For the Intel i7 7700k the CPU has a Base Clock of 100 * a CPU Clock Ratio of 42 for a frequency of 4200Mhz which is 4.2Ghz . In this guide we will be overclocking to 4.8Ghz for a 600Mhz increase .
In CPU Clock Ratio enter “ 48 ”.
