For reference we are using a GIGABYTE AORUS 270X-Gaming 7 motherboard and an Intel i7 7700K CPU . Based on our testing most Intel 7700Ks can hit 4.8Ghz without delidding on standard air coolers using a 1.30 Vcore .
Two ways to overclock
We offer two different ways to overclock , a simple and easy way for increased performance at no hassle and a manual way for precise overclocking in order to get the most out of your system .
The simple and easy way
Step 1 : Enter the BIOS by pressing the “ delete ” button Step 2 : Enter “ Advanced Frequency Settings ”
Here you see the “ Extreme Memory Profile ( X . M . P .)” option . Change it to “ Profile 1 ”. Depending on your RAM you might see a second X . M . P . profile .
