PAGE 4 SPRING 2017 Dinner Dance at Stock Brook Manor in January was Brilliant - Next one b Congratulations to Jenny Aspinall who was the main organiser of this excellent evening. It was enjoyed so much that even on the night people were asking about the next one! Nichola Webber (Brentwood West District) was presented with a Good Service Brooch for all of her hard work with the Improving Access To Guiding team in Brentwood. Penny Grenfell and Sarah Webber (IA2G) made the presentation County President Margaret Henderson was presented with her 50 year service award by Chris Skinner and Mary Putt The County BP Weekend was held at Oaklands from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd January 2017 The theme of the weekend was Ready Stea from around the County came together as a gr maybe knowing one or two others and going a Friday night was spent learning some basic their day on Saturday . Saturday was spent in groups preparing fo Saturday evening which was attended by Chr Commissioner, Jenny Aspinall, Assistant Cou Margaret Henderson, County President and D Photographer. During the day girls in groups prepared and cooked the three course meal with professional chef Andrew Dade, who gave up his day for us. The girls made paracord napkin rings, favour boxes for everyone, table decorations and menus. They also had a go at napkin folding. Each group acted as waitresses to serve the course they prepared and cooked, we also had wine servers and Master of Ceremonies. Look out for the next adventure which will be later in the year and probably a day one.
