Programme & Adventure continue to offer lots of exciting things, including: Rainbow Day to Colchester Zoo (23rd September),Guide & TSS Day out to Thorpe Park (30th September) Brownies Space Day (sadly this was cancelled in 2017 but we now have a replacement date for 2018) We still need more people to join Task & Finish Groups to help organise County events, if interested, please contact the County Office who will put you in touch with the Group. JP Awards Congratulations to all those who received Jack Petchey Awards at our recent Presentation Evening and thank you and well done to our 4 performers on the evening – you were all brilliant. Training The County Training team continues to run many brilliant and varied trainings throughout the year. Please make sure you check these out, all are advertised in the e-bulletin, website and fb. These trainings are run for YOU. Members Day Please get the date in your diary: 14th October 2017. A morning of essential and fun trainings and an afternoon of fun and laughter. Try Scuba Diving with your girls Thurrock West held a Rainbow/Brownie Link Day recently at the Ockendon Scout HQ. All the girls had a great day at this event which is becoming an annual fixture If you are looking for something really new and exciting for your Unit, why not think about scuba diving. This fabulous experience is available at a specialist pool in Bulphan. Contact the office for details on how to book a memorable session for your Unit The Thurrock Scout and Guide Gang Show, Stride On, celebrated 50 years of shows this year. Jan Thurnell has been associated with Stride On since the very beginning and had been Director for the major part of the half century of shows.
