IGT SIGNS EXTENSION WITH VIRGINIA LOTTERY
International Game Technology announced that its IGT Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary has signed a three-year contract extension with the Virginia Lottery . The extension , when added to the full duration of the contract , will run through October 2033 , and in addition makes available three one-year extension options .
As part of the contract extension , IGT will provide the Virginia Lottery with an upgraded lottery central system and communications network , new point-of-sale hardware , and new game-play features with a target live date of October 2025 .
Under the terms of the contract extension , IGT will upgrade the Virginia Lottery ’ s central retail system to its newest version of Aurora , part of IGT ’ s OMNIA lottery solution . IGT also will replace 5,500 retailer terminals with its high-performance , high-volume terminal the Retailer Pro S2 , enabling the lottery to easily add new features across multiple point-of-sale terminals simultaneously .
IGT has been the primary lottery technology partner of the Virginia Lottery since 2000 and its primary instant ticket provider since 2020 .

LIGHT & WONDER PARTNERS WITH EVERI DIGITAL , RUBYPLAY
L ight & Wonder , Inc . announced two new partnership arrangements that will bring new content to operators in the U . S ., U . K , Europe and South America . The company has signed an expanded longterm deal with Everi Digital , the online gaming business of Everi Holdings Inc ., empowering the developer to expand into new markets in the U . K ., Europe , and South America .
The agreement will initially serve Light & Wonder ’ s customers in the U . K . with a range of games from the 70-strong catalogue of Everi Digital , delivered to the network through Light & Wonder ’ s online ecosystem .
Customers in Italy will also be the first in the country to gain access to Everi Digital ’ s distinct titles in the summer of this year through the new agreement , with additional new European markets to follow by the end of 2024 on an exclusive basis . The rollout in South America is scheduled to take place in Q1 2024 .
Everi ’ s games catalogue has already proven popular with players in North America through an existing distribution deal with Light & Wonder , a relationship that has gone from strength to strength over the past four years .
The expanded deal represents the latest phase of Light & Wonder ’ s iGaming strategy — to forge major agreements with game developers to accelerate its leading position as a premium global content provider .
Light & Wonder ’ s online ecosystem delivers more than 3,500 games from a global network of in-house and third-party game studios .
Meanwhile , Light & Wonder also has forged a new collaboration with iGaming content supplier RubyPlay , that includes exclusive aggregation for the U . S . iGaming market .
The new agreement grants Light & Wonder ’ s
operator network access to RubyPlay ’ s content , including the Immortal Ways series , which has recently gained significant traction for the provider .
