Touch Accommodations
With Touch Accommodations you can adjust how the screen responds to your touch. You can control how long you touch the screen before it's recognised or whether repeat touches are ignored. So you can put your finger down anywhere on the screen and move the item you want with mistakenly performing an action.
Keyboard Shortcuts
If there is a word you use frequently you can create a custom shortcut and your device will type it out for you. for example, "appt" can be expanded to "appointment" or "cyl" to "call you later". Keyboard shortcuts make it easier and faster to type whatever you want to; your name, an website address or anything else you commonly type.
Predictive Text
Tap to choose the perfect suggestion fro your next word. Predictive Text is an adaptable feature that adjusts the suggested words based on who you're talking to and what you've said before.
Hardware Keyboard Support
When using a physical keyboard you can turn on a feature call Sticky Keys. This allows you to press one button at a time rather than together - for example 'Shift+Control'.
Slow Keys means you can adjust the amount of time between when a key is pressed and when it is activated so your device processes only the keystrokes you mean to make.
Support for Third-party Keyboards
Swipe rather than type or use a classic keyboard layout. Developers can now format keyboards for use within their own apps. Now that new keyboards are available you can choose your favourite input method or layout and use it systemwide.
