Everything else I know about him, I heard it on the streets of Bethlehem. People said Samuel appointed him the next king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah, others said he defeated the most feared enemy of the

Kingdom, Goliath, and once I even discovered he was killed in a battle.

Every night I prayed for him, for his safety, his return, and his happiness, and it was that day when my life made a turning point. I was making my devotions on top of the hill I saw David for the last time when suddenly I saw it. It was as if God was sending me some sort of signal. The wind was blowing, and inside its harsh currents, a piece of paper live inside it. I covered my face with a piece of cloth for protection and entered the airstream while I grabbed it. It was a painting, showing David in his natural status. A nude picture. His curly hair was covering the top of his face. He always had that mysterious look that evaded eye contact with everyone. He was frowning his facial skin, raising his eyebrows with a wondrous look

that assured me he was alright. David was there.

"That's all?" Michelangelo asked.

“Yes, that’s David,” I answered while handing him the painting.

“You're not going to tell me why I have to do this? I am not going to waste my time on someone who doesn’t deserve this,” Michelangelo debated.

"Come on Mike, that is your job, after all, you are greatest," I insisted, while Michelangelo grabbed a piece Carrara marble and started sculpturing someone’s naked body.
