Starry Night
He was outraged
Couldn’t stand the presence of anyone around him
He ran away, unrestrained
I observed him from my window
A tall and skinny man
Staring at the fluffy billows
I saw how delicately he kneeled down
Placing his soft hands on his face, covering his existence
Then it came, the breakdown
Something inside him was tearing up his soul
He couldn’t appreciate the universe on top of him
But as for me, I was able to perceive it all as a whole:
A delightful winter night
A dark sky full of stars
Everything so shiny bright
A soundless melody created by our moon
Everything combined into a majestic extravaganza
It melted inside my mind like a spoonful of sugar
But he was still there
Hiding from the sky
He still wasn’t aware
An unknown cosmos, that no one seems to notice
Just me, with an open mind, contemplating what we have
He was down there, sobbing and hopeless
I grabbed my jacket and decided to go down there
That sorrowful man needed someone to talk to
My lungs filled with the cold winter air
