A quality control issue that will have a big impact on bulk production will be the zip and the metal hook on the top of the trousers.

When seeing the trousers, the hook was already faulty and the button after it was very unsteady.

When it came to modelling the trousers, the model went to do the zip up and it just completely came away from the stitching.

This is poor quality from a pair of Topshop jeans and not what you would expect from a reliable high street brand.

As well as this another quality control issue could be the stitching of the stripes. In the video I identified how as the stripes are individually stitched on they are easily able to rip away from the stitching with wear and washing. It also didn’t help with how thin the material is Personally I feel there should be a lining inside the trousers to prevent rips and tears from occurring.

The stripes may also occur a problem in bulk production. As I mentioned, the stripes are individually stitched on, not only is there the concern of them ripping but also them being uneven.
