Internal and external integration in supply chain management is becoming more and more important within the industry as the years go by. To start with, internal integration is used within a brand to make the processes within the product more efficient. This is the opposite of external integration, which is how the external relationships can be improved (using partners or suppliers outside of the company or brand).
