After creating footwear, fragrance and dress collections the Sex and the City star is collaborating with London-based jewellery designer Kat Florence on The Flawless Diamonds Collections. Launching on 5th November, the collection is split into four styles, each celebrating different techniques and decades of design. All of the designs will be made using D-Grade diamonds sourced from Botswana with prices starting at £1,300.
Parker said “It is so personal. As an actress, I have to take off all of my jewellery in order to take on the characters I play. To me, jewellery is a very special choice.” Keeping true to the personal nature of the collection, only 10 or 15 pieces will be made per style.
Burberry is celebrating Christmas this year by creating a short film about the life of its founder, Thomas Burberry, starring Sienna Miller, Lily James, Dominic West and Domhnall Gleeson. “This year, as we celebrate our 160th anniversary we wanted to tell the story of Thomas Burberry – pioneer, inventor, innovator and the man behind the iconic trench coat – in our own words.” said Burberry chief creative and chief executive officer, Christopher Bailey.
The short film is called, The Tale of Thomas Burberry, and comes in the form of a three minute trailer written by Academy Award-nominated Matt Charman and directed by Academy Award-winning Asif Kapadia.
