Garment production

How could you make this style simpler?

One way of making this style simpler would be to have an image of the beaded look printed onto the top rather than having real beads sewn onto the garment.

Another way would even be to sew each bead individually to the garment, although this could take more work the beads would be less likely to fall off and therefore there would be less chance of having to send the garment back to the manufacturer.

What problems do you see with the style?

A problem with this style could be the beads falling off, especially because they aren’t individually sewn onto the garment. Some of the beads have partially fallen off of the garment already and this makes it unsaleable.

Also the sleeves have unfinished edges, although this is on purpose the sleeve edges are rolling inwards and this doesn’t match the fancy bead detailing.

Whatt do yoou see as the major issues for production with this style?

A problem could be ensuring the beads are all attached to the garment properly to prevent them from falling off. This could be a problem because beads are fiddly items and the chains are very thin so they will also be very fiddly to sew into the garment. If this isn’t done properly in the production process the garment will not be saleable when it arrives in store.
