Should we do a Rehearsal?

We suggest a rehearsal for all beach weddings for a couple of reasons, including; calming nerves, look at sunset location, and for small children. For any wedding ceremony, a rehearsal in important, but especially for a beach wedding. As there are no walls to peek around to see how everything is going, the timing and coordination is very important for a beach wedding. Also, having a walk-through lets you see the sun, feel the wind, look at the tide and general lay of the beach so any adjustments in timing, location can be made then.

Everyone from the wedding party doesn't have to be there for the rehearsal. As many as can make it will be fine. Mainly, the bride and groom need to be aware of the processional and order of the ceremony. Mostly, the coordinator or planner walks you through, the officiant doesn't attend, unless requested.
