Non-native English Speaking Students that wish to join our postsecondary studies must have one of the following English credentials:
Test of English as a Foreign Language( TOEFL) – Internet-based test( IBT): 80; BScN requires 89; Pharmacy Technician requires 91;
International English Language Testing Service( IELTS) – overall score of 6.0 for diploma programs and overall of 6.5 for degree, graduate programs and Pharmacy Technician; BScN requires 7.0;
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery( MELAB) minimum score of 82; University of Cambridge: CAE with minimum B grade or CPE York English Language Test( YELT) – overall score of 1-5; BScN requires 1-4; Test of English for International Communication( TOEIC) – 800 or higher( Not applicable for BSCN);
Georgian College’ s English for Academic Purposes Level 4 program with a GPA of 60 per cent or higher( for admission to post-secondary diploma and certificate programs only).
If the above requirements cannot be met, applicants may apply for Georgian’ s English for Academic Purposes program. For more information, see English for Academic Purposes. To apply for English for Academic Purposes we only need your application form. No payment or transcripts are necessary.
To apply for postsecondary or graduate studies, we need the following:
The transcripts from the last year of high school or university if you are applying for a graduate certificate.
You should send us the scanned original or certified copies via email.
If there are some post-secondary studies, please also send us the transcripts for the last year of your post-secondary studies.
All transcripts must be translated into English.

Study permit / visa
Once you have an acceptance letter and tuition receipt, you may apply for a study permit / student visa from the Canadian Embassy or Consulate. Visit www. cic. gc. ca / english / study / index. asp for more information. Please notify us( reginternational @ georgiancollege. ca) as soon as you receive your study permit / student visa.
