Dwayne , born and raised in Walter ’ s Falls , has deep roots to the area . His grandfather purchased the falls site as a saw mill in 1944 . When the saw mill burned down in 1984 , Dwayne and his father committed to rebuilding the property where The Falls Inn now stands . Meg graduated Fanshaw ’ s Hotel Restaurant Management Course and went on to work in the service industry at local golf and ski resorts . With Meg and her assistant , Cathy acting as your dedicated wedding planner , no detail is left unattended . Chef April McLean creates spectacular casual fine dining cuisine using fresh local ingredients to enhance her artistic creativity . Together , they provide the personal touch needed to make your day a memorable success .
