Non-religious people want beautiful ceremonies too !
As a non-denominational officiant on the Ontario registry of certified ministers , I can legally perform wedding ceremonies . I officiate all kinds of weddings including same sex marriage unions , small informal ceremonies , destination weddings as well as large indoor or outdoor gatherings .
My love affair with weddings began when I was a teenager performing as a vocalist at church weddings in Thornbury and Clarksburg . Later in life , I was inspired to become a minister by my brother who has performed over 2,000 weddings in Japan . I genuinely love connecting with people and hearing their stories of how they became partners .

As we sit together and talk about what might be possible at a wedding ceremony , I learn so much about the couple . Then , we collaborate to create a meaningful and unique ceremony that truly reflects the bride and groom ’ s personalities , their personal styles and their histories . The words that I speak at weddings are fully approved by the couple . I love helping couples create vows that really reflect their own unique love and partnership and then helping them share them with their most beloved family and friends .
The extraordinary joy of the wedding day and being at the epicentre of a couple ’ s official commitment to each other is amazing .
