This is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week 2022! The State Board of Pardons and Paroles victim staff are assisting crime victims every day! Georgia Office of Victim Services (GOVS) staff manned an information table at the Lakewood Church of Hope's annual Community Event on April 16, 2022. GOVS is a division of the Parole Board and represents registered crime victims in Georgia.

The Georgia Office of Victim Services is recognizing National Crime Victims' Rights Week 2022 by participating in events all week. Tuesday, April 26th was the MADD Blood Drive.
The State Board of Pardons and Paroles was among groups participating earlier as Governor Brian Kemp recognized Crime Victims' Rights Week in Georgia. Parole Board Vice Chair Jacqueline Bunn represented the Georgia Parole Board along with staff from our Georgia Office of Victim Services.

The Georgia Office of Victim Services supported a Blood Drive sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving and on April 27th, the office facilitated the first “Victim Impact Session” (V.I.S.) with the Northeastern Judicial Circuit at the Hall County Courthouse.
On April 26th, in recognition of NCVRW 2022, Governor Brian Kemp welcomed advocates and victim units from state agencies including the State Board of Pardons and Paroles to the Georgia Capitol. Vice Chair Jacqueline Bunn and GOVS staff represented the Board.
