The agency recognized employees in June at the second annual ceremony held at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC).

Employees were recognized in these categories: Innovations, Community Impact Public Service and Employee of the Year.

"For an agency of less than 200 employees, we have extraordinary staff who go above and beyond to serve public safety and Georgia," said Terry Barnard, Parole Board Chairman.

Jacques Brown, a Senior Hearing Examiner in the Clemency Division was named "Employee of the Year."

The Innovations award went to Field Services Senior District Operations Manager Jenna James for work updating the scanning unit and on implementing the new guidelines system for revocation decisions.

Julia Richard, a Clemency Assistant Team Leader, was recognized for Community Impact "Inreach" Customer Service and Marie Rothwein, a District Operations Manager in Field Services was recognized for her service to external customers with the Community Impact "Outreach" Customer Service award.

Catherine Denise Jones has served Georgians for forty years and was recognized for that milestone.
