Georgia Parole Review
Jenna James and Crystal Moon recently completed the Leadership Institute training program offered by the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA). Graduates were honored at the APPA's 43rd Annual Training Institute, this past summer in Philadelphia.
The APPA provides training for community corrections, parole boards and related agencies. The APPA Leadership Institute provides participants with a fundamental understanding of leadership within the community corrections arena and provides experience exercising leadership.
James is Deputy Director of Field Services and Moon is a Senior Hearing Examiner.
2018 State Charitable Contributions Program
The State Charitable Contributions Program Campaign closed October 31, 2018. Although the final tally isn't in, parole raised more than $700 through a campaign bake sale in October.
The campaign slogan for the year was “Shaping Our Future Through Giving.”
HR Director Eris McKennon is parole's campaign chair.
"We're always finding opportunities for staff to engage and contribute to the many charities supported by the annual campaign. It is my pleasure to work with people who easily contribute their time and hard earned money to this campaign each year," states McKennon.
