a "divine status" which in western perception is
often, taken as a sign of mental disturbance.
States and authorities have already formed a
profile of those attackers and it is not
something they want to share. It is pointing out
that profile has some characteristics describing
most immigrants and most people who have
roots at countries with a strong tie to radical
Islam. I am not talking about the citizenships
but about the nationalities... their origin.
If now states give to media such a profile to
describe and in a way warn citizens, the only
logical outcome will cause a hate wave based
upon racial profiling which will make things
even worse probably. So, they decide to give
the picture of a person who is unstable and
launched an attack because of that. They know that this a mockery, they also know that this won’t
hold forever, but at this point, they need to buy time in order to build a plan to counteract and prevent
this new form of terrorist. Do not fool ourselves. This profile is similar to the one terrorists have. There
are no real differences. But, still, time is needed to deal with this new model and at the same time try
to avoid a hot race confrontation which, also, won’t end well.
