attacks broadcasted by media, later on become a “monument” of terrorist ability to accomplish their
goals. Terrorist groups use it as an example to follow for future attacks and maybe claim honor on
them in case of Islamic terrorism. This should also be handled and only generic intel should be
available. There is no need for all people to know everything about an attack and how this ended or
how the authorities performed during the raid (how they got into, how they swept the area, etc. )
These are details of no use to most people.
These list of suggestions could easily be enriched by tech specifics and other details more focused on
how to develop a certain security plan but this is not something that this article is written for. The main
idea here is to present a different possibility to deal with terrorism not just by police and CT units, but
also by all people’s participation in a more resourceful way. Especially since now modus operandi of
terrorism is not just aiming to buildings and targets of high symbolism, but also at simple individuals
who happened to be at a common public place where attackers decided to hit without further notice.
