Let us pray with confidence for Geoff as we give thanks for the gift of his life . We turn to God as a loving father and place our needs before him .
Reader : May Geoff ’ s family and all who know him find comfort and consolation in knowing that Geoff lived a wonderful life and is in God ’ s hands . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
Reader : May God bless the staff and nurses who cared for Geoff with patience and compassion . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
Reader : May the Lord Jesus welcome those who have departed this life especially much loved family and friends of Geoff . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
THE LORD ’ S PRAYER ( Please stand ) Cel : Let us now unite all these prayers in the prayer that Jesus has taught us . All : Our Father , who art in heaven , hallowed be thy name ; thy Kingdom come ; thy will be done , on earth as it is in heaven . Give us this day our daily bread ; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us ; and lead us not into temptation , but deliver us from evil . Amen .
