UW-PLATTEVILLE COLLEGE OF EMS WELCOMES A NEW FACE: STACIA STEPHENSON
AT THE ALLIANT ENERGY AWARDS, UW-PLATTEVILLE SHINES
On October 28 th, two UW-Platteville College of EMS community members were honored at the Alliant Energy Awards ceremony: student Nicole Maala( Engineering Physics and Spanish) won the Alliant Energy / Erroll B. Davis, Jr. Academic Achievement Award, and Dr. Keith Thompson( Civil & Environmental Engineering) was honored with the Alliant Energy / Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award. The Erroll B. Davis award honors the outstanding scholarship and community service of undergraduate students from traditionally under-represented minority groups, while the Underkofler award is intended to recognize and reward extraordinary teachers at UW- System institutions within Alliant Energy’ s service area. Congratulations to both the winners!

Dear fellow alumni, colleagues and donors,
My name is Stacia Stephenson and I am delighted to serve the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science as your Development Officer from the Department of Development and Alumni Engagement. To share a little about me, I am a 2010 UW-Platteville alumna, from the Department of Health and Human Performance. Currently, I am working on my Master of Arts degree in executive leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. My husband, our two children and I have been part of the UW-Platteville community and city of Platteville for 11 years. We are happy to call UW-Platteville home. I’ m looking forward to connecting with all of you and assisting in making every day a great day to be a Pioneer!
