Without a doubt, one of the objectives set by the costa rican trio - as it was to deliver a bit of Costa Rica to other latitudeswas widely fulfilled along its way across South America. They also achieved other equally important goals: to support worthy institutions and social projects, and that 4 million ticos joined other so many thousands of fans from those countries that didn’t attend the event, but as they passed by, Sebas, Racha and Boli, demonstrated that “Pura Vida” is not just a slogan, but a contagious lifestyle. An irrefutable demonstration of this was evidenced in the increased amount of their Facebook fans: they left with an average of 1,000 followers and at the time of their return they exceeded 40,000 of which - to the surprise of many, 52% were women (18 to 34 years). What is interesting in all this, is that the project in action kept an average of 90% followers 50 Geo Adventure Magazine permanently speaking and sharing topics related to what was being done through this social network. “The idea was to carry all this people overland with us, hence the name “Subite al Chunche” so they could see the world from the eyes of an amateur” This is how a political scientist and journalist by vocation, takes us one step forward with his ideas, in tune with his followers, along with a civil engineer who organized the logistics and kept the course toward the goals, to finally be able to deliver a motivating staging from the producer who managed to get us on board of a macro-concept called “The Chunche” through their videos, and to be witnesses and stars of a journey, filled with kilometers of adventure, where we laughed, cried, applauded and even cried for happiness at a special and unique moment in the sporting history of Costa Rica and the world.•
