Outdoor Ice Rink Information
Benefits of Ice Skating
Ice skating is a low impact exercise that provides positive effects on overall health.
The outdoor ice complex at Wheeler Park is located on North Street/Rt. 31 in Geneva, next to Stone Creek Miniature Golf Course. It will consist of three
sheets of ice, one dedicated for general skating and two for hockey. An additional outdoor ice skating option will be available in the Mill Creek Pool
parking lot, weather permitting.
A warming shelter is available at Wheeler Park in the Stone Creek Miniature Golf Hut from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday-Friday, and 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and/or school holidays when ice is skateable. Lights are available until 10:00 pm daily. Please note: skating is no longer at Jaycee and Sunset Park.
Did you know?
Creating the ice is an interesting
process. In order for the
appropriate amount of ice to be
prepared, the temperature has to
remain at
20 degrees or below
for at least 48 hours.
