8 Classes Boys and girls will learn the basics of volleyball in a fun and safe environment . We will progress from soft playground balls to volleyballs while learning proper techniques for bumping , setting , spiking and serving . All classes are taught by Beth Arni , a certified elementary school teacher and former Division II Collegiate Volleyball player . Girls Middle School Volleyball League
This league will emphasize on skill , teamwork , and character development . Participants will get a schedule at the beginning of the season letting them know when they practice and play . League will not meet on Saturdays or Sundays . There will be an end of season seeded tournament . Teams will be mixed with all grade levels . If needed player assessments would take place in late March . Please note : players will NOT meet 5 days a week and will only practice 1.25 hours at a time . Schedule will be provided at the beginning of the season . Most common meeting dates will be Monday , Tuesday , Thursday .
