Wild Weather
Ages 5-7

Winter may be on its way out, but that doesn’t
mean the weather is clear yet. Learn about why
spring has so much rain and wind, play a game,
and make your own tornado. Hopefully, we
will be able to witness some wild weather for

Become a recycling engineer and see recycling
in a whole new light. Engage in science
and nature, generating solutions, working
collaboratively using systematic reasoning
and creativity with hands-on inquiry and
open ended exploration. Please note: All materials
and supplies are provided. Since each class builds on the
previous class, consistent attendance is recommended.

Science in the Springtime
Ages 6-8

Spring is a time of discovery. There are many
things to explore and learn about while having
a good time. Come and perform experiments by
making observations and hypotheses. Spring
nature and weather will be our inspiration!

entered into a raffle for a private after-hours Butterfly House

Lawn Chair Birding
All Ages
How many of nature's tiny treasures can you fit
into a matchbox? We're on the hunt for all things
teeny and tiny. Half day of school for Geneva

Hike the trails at Peck Farm to find the perfect
nature items to make a one-of-a-kind mobile to

Put the whole family in pajamas and head over
for a fun-filled evening. We’ll roast hotdogs
and make s’mores while learning about prairie
animals. Please note: food and drinks included. Children
must be accompanied by a paying adult. Instructor: Peck

Bring a comfortable lawn chair, binoculars,
and a thermos full of hot cocoa for an hour of
lazy birding at Peck Farm with a local birding
expert. Please note: a limited number of children and
