Little Explorers
Ages 4 - 5
6 classes In this camp your preschooler will learn about nature through hikes , games , crafts , stories , and hands-on exploration . Please note : all participants must be potty-trained ; no diapers or pull-ups . Please apply sunscreen and insect spray prior to camp . We ask that you bring a bag containing a reusable water bottle labeled with your child ’ s name and a nut-free snack each day . Instructor : Peck Farm Park Staff . How do animals and plants survive ? They use funny and fascinating modes that we are just beginning to understand . Learn about animals that swallow with their eyes and taste with their legs , along with plants that eat insects , use poison , and poke with thorns .

Investigate the many properties of water through experiments and observations . Become a scientist to examine aquatic pond animals , explore the ecology of aquatic life , and get really wet !

Ultimate Survivor - 3 rd -5 th
Join a tribe , find the hidden immunity idol to earn points , solve nature puzzles , and learn to survive . Compete in challenges including orienteering , lakeside , and the prairie scavenger hunt .
Mad Scientist Training Academy - 3 rd -5 th
Discover crazy science with cool chemical reactions , magical experiments and a mixture of outdoor exploration and active games . Each camper will be awarded a diploma upon completion of the camp .
Animal Grossology - 3 rd -5 th
Dissect an owl pellet , get the scoop on poop , and discover why flies are so gross .
Wild Child - 3 rd -5 th
Use GPS units and a compass to hunt for treasure around the lake , experience cartography by making your own map , and go behind the scenes at Peck Farm .
