Trips
Registration / Refund Policy:
Trips are geared toward adults unless otherwise noted. Deadlines are offered as a guideline. Children must be accompanied
by an adult. Registration for trips is available in-person, by mail, fax or over the phone. Some trips offer online registration,
however, trips that have multiple pricing options are not available for online registration. If you are unable to attend a trip you
have registered for, please let us know as soon as possible. Refunds will be given if you find a replacement or a participant from the wait
list can take that spot.
Please note: this icon indicates online registration is not available. Phone registration requires an annual waiver to be filled out and on file.
Transportation:
Several of our day trips include transportation. We are sorry, but door-to-door pick-up service is not available for our general and older
adult trips or programs. The following service may be helpful if you live in Geneva: Ride in Kane: 630-232-7494. Geneva Township Residents
may be eligible for a portion of transportation reimbursement (provided by Geneva Highway Department).
Parking:
Parking for trips offered September-May is at Sunset Community Center, 710 Western Avenue. Parking is permitted just
south of the railroad tracks. Enter lot and proceed to the west end of the lot. If necessary, you may wait inside the building.
Parking for trips offered June-August is at Western Avenue School, located at 1500 Western Avenue in Geneva. The bus will
pick you up there.

City of Lights Tour & Baker’s Square
Enjoy a tour of Aurora with a step-on guide historian
including the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR Building), a
founder home The Tanner House, and the Aurora Historical
Society Museum. We’ll ride to Plano to also tour the historical
Farnsworth House. Before the tour enjoy lunch on your own
at Baker’s Square. Complimentary pie is included with your
entree. Trip includes tours and transportation. Deadline: 2/21 (BK)

at IKEA. International goods for your home and family are
the feature of this store. Enjoy a typical Swedish or American
style lunch on your own in the cafeteria. Just a reminder, IKEA

Sweet sensations and a world of delight await us at the
Jelly Belly Visitor Center. On the Jelly Belly Express Train
Tour, tour the warehouse and taste the magic of the original
gourmet Jelly Belly jelly bean. Learn how candy corn, jelly
beans, gummies and more are made. There will be time to
visit the Sample Bar and, purchase your favorites! Next stop,
Magnolia Cafe & Bakery at Lambs Farm, for lunch on your
own. There will be time to visit the Farmyard, Dogwood
Garden and Pet Center, the Cedar Chest Thrift Store and
Sugar Maple Country Store. Trip includes transportation and tour.

Start the day with breakfast or lunch on your own at the fun,
retro diner Seven Dwarfs Restaurant, featuring American,
Greek & Italian fare. The afternoon will be spent at Cantigny.
Tour the stately McCormick Mansion, built in 1896, once
the home of Chicago Tribune editor and publisher Robert
R. McCormick. Our guided tour will explore how Colonel
McCormick lived with his family from 1936 to 1955. There
is time to explore the First Division Museum, a tribute to all
those who have served and continue to serve to protect the
freedom of America. Trip includes transportation and tour.
