Geneva Park District Fall 2020 Program Guide Fall 2020 | Page 89

Geneva Park District Foundation Living Tree Program Donate a tree in the name of someone special or in honor of a special occasion. Trees will be planted in one of our beautiful parks. Extraordinary events including births, anniversaries, weddings, retirements and graduations could be commemorated through the Geneva Park District’s Living Tree Program. Prices for the trees range from $250 to $300, and include planting and maintenance. For the health of the trees, planting is done in the spring and fall. A memorial plaque can be ordered and installed at an additional cost. Plaque prices begin at $125. A bench can be installed along with, or in lieu of, a tree at an additional cost as well. Donate a tree today! Visit genevaparks.org , click on the Get Involved Tab, go to Living Tree Program and download the Living Tree Order Form. Hawks Hollow Memorial Brick Program Foster a legacy of environmental education and create a lasting impression at the Hawks Hollow Nature Playground with the purchase of a round or rectangular paver brick. Pavers can be inscribed with an approved, personalized message that can include the names of loved-ones, businesses, and organizations, as well as important dates. Purchasing a paver supports the Geneva Park District Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization and Peck Farm’s mission to cultivate environmental education. Funds generated will be used to offset annual maintenance costs, allowing children to experience the wonder of Hawks Hollow for years to come. Support the Geneva Park District Foundation!
