A great beginner class for anyone who has never picked up
a set of knitting needles or for those looking to get back
into an old hobby. You will learn how to cast on, knit, purl,
bind off, and reading a knitting pattern. By the end of class,
you will have completed your very first project, a beautiful
scarf. Note: Supplies NOT included. Students will need to purchase a set
of size 8 needles, 1 - Skein of medium yarn of your color choice. Instructor:

Join us for a fun packed hour of nostalgic
memories. From the 1940’s on up to the babyboomers,
the audience is the star. Topics are
both interesting and entertaining, covering
Chicagoland and surrounding local areas.
Denny, 1968 Vietnam Vet, grew up in St. Charles
and is very familiar with all the fun spots from
back in the 50’s and 60’s. Being a Baby Boomer
with a background of 50 years on major market
Radio and TV from Chicago, LA, New York, not
to mention several places in-between the East
and West coast paying his dues in the early days
of broadcasting. He will guide the discussion to
remember all the good places and memories!
