BOYS RECREATION LEAGUE INFORMATION - 3 RD - 8 TH GRADE
The purpose of our youth basketball program is to provide the participants with the opportunity for skill development,
practice and game participation, positive social interactions and fun. Please note: teams will not be added after the deadline, but individual
registrations may still be accepted if the league still has openings. Teams might have optional practices on the weekends of Winter Break, but may have games
the first weekend in January. Players who are already on other non-park district travel teams are not permitted to play in this league.
Skill Evaluation and Coach Meeting
In an effort to keep all teams as balanced as possible, a skill evaluation day will be held November 7. A player draft and
coaches meeting will follow on November 14. All participants must be enrolled in the program to attend the evaluation. All players in the league
must attend this evaluation. If you are not able to attend, please contact Program Supervisor Ryan Coffland.

Registration Deadline: November 2
Grade levels will play together, players will be selected onto on a team. Each team will play 10-12 games with an end of season tournament. Practices
will begin in late-November/early-December with games played starting in January. Practices are held at a District 304 School once a week for an hour
on weekday evenings of your coach's choosing. Most games will be held on weekends.

SPECIAL UNIFORM NOTE:
There is a $20 additional fee for a jersey. However, if your jersey still fits from last year, you can continue to
use it and do not need to purchase a new one.

The 3rd-6th grade girls leagues will continue playing in an inter-park district rec league. All games will be on Saturdays
and Sundays. Practices will begin in mid-November with games beginning January.
This league could include light travel to some neighboring communities
such as Batavia, Warrenville, Winfield, and St. Charles. Practices will be for
one hour once a week on a weeknight of your coach’s choosing.
The 7th/8th grade girls league will begin in mid-October with games
starting in early November and ending in January.
Girls Recreational Basketball
Registration Deadline: November 4th
Grade levels will play together, players will be selected onto on a team. Each team will play 8-10
games with an end-of season tournament. Teams will practice at a District 304 Schools one time a week for 1 hour on a weekday evening of your
coach’s choosing. Most games will be held on Saturday or Sunday’s afternoons. This League could include light travel to neighboring communities.
