Lights, Camera, Action – Making
Your Own Harry Potter™ Movie
Learn to design, build and program robots. This
class is a multi-level program where students
move up a level each time they take the class to
take on more advanced concepts. Starting with
basic use of motors, gears and sensors, students
will work their way up to controlling the robots
movements installing sensors that pick up light,
distance and color. This is the perfect class for
anyone interested in robotics, technology and

STEM Learn How to Code
Ages 8-14

Students learn programming essentials
by coding with Scratch, a programming
environment developed by MIT. Coding in
Scratch allows children to understand basic
programming concepts, program flow, and
programming logic, through the development
of simple to advanced animations, interactive
stories, and video games, Scratch encourages
systematic reasoning and creativity. This class
is a multi-level program where students are
placed based on skill and experience. Instructor:

Race Car Engineering Academy
Ages 7-12

Using STEM concepts, this class will teach
children all about what makes a race car run,
from gear ratios, motors, and servos, to steering
mechanics, breaking and more. Students will
configure, design and drive a radio controlled
race car to see these concepts in action. This
class is the first step in competing in a local area
competition with other students using the cars of
their own designs! Instructor will have more information

What is the next adventure for Harry Potter, Ron
and Hermione? You decide! We will create our
own Harry Potter movie using special movie
making cameras and software. As directors and
producers, we will work in teams to create our
own story and script, build various Harry Potter
Lego scenes and film our own movie. We will
use graphic editing techniques and stop motion
animation, add background noise and music,
and show our movie at a private screening on
the last day of class. All students will get a copy of their

Create a Book Workshop!
Ages 8-12

Students will create their own unique and
personalized Holiday gift for a grandparent,
aunt, uncle or other loved one. Using special
editing software and digital cameras, students
will create a personalized book for a loved one
in this fun and creative class. Students will work
on their projects for the first 3 classes and will
get their book at the 4th class, just in time for
the holidays. On the 4th day, they will wrap and
decorate their gift and will also work on a video
greeting to be sent to family members for the
holidays. Your family member will be so excited
to receive such special gift from your child!

Checkmate Chess
