Before the lesson, students are asked to download the “star walk2” program to their
mobile phones or tablets.

Learning process
At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher explains the play “day and night” and
plays it several times. He/she then asks students for information about day and night
formation. After a short discussion, the teacher informs about the formation day and
night. Then class go out to the schoolyard and the planets, stars, Sun and Moon are
examined through the application. They make researches and evaluations about the
relationship between the Sun and the Moon and the Earth. The teacher gives the task
of examining all the planets in the solar system and the relationship between them.
Teacher brings a model of solar system to class. Explains and exemplifies spelling
and reading of up to 9 digits. A game is established among the students. The first
student reads the number written by the teacher, Then that student writes a number
