The students are divided into groups. The students are shown a mix of pre-prepared
playing cards with synonyms and antonyms on one side.
Learning process
After asking the students what the synonyms and antonyms mean, a short
explanation is given. A text with synonyms and antonyms is then read. Synonyms
and antonyms in the text read are found in order.

The students prepare a word game with synonyms and antonyms by using the
Scratch program. During the given period, the other group is asked to find the word
which is the equivalent or opposite meaning of the word used in a sentence on the
smart board. When the correct answer is given, points are awarded and the game
