BIG WILL

Born Wilfredo Rosario Jr. in the east side section of the Bronx in 1984, he grew up in a poverty stricken area. At the age of 13, Wilfredo had two loves: hanging in the streets and writing music. Even though he came from a good family with a religious background, he still chose to do wrong instead of right. Walking the path he chose, Wilfredo wound up incarcerated at the
age of 16 on a gun and drug possession charge. Being incarcerated became a revolving door for Wilfredo. He was arrested numerous times for drug possession. This kept continuing until he
had his first child, a girl named Jaydeliz. After the birth of his daughter, he began to realize that the lifestyle he was living wasn’t worth it. This is when his mentor Felix Delgado (a.k.a. Cuban Link) came into his life. Cuban Link took a special interest in Wilfredo and welcomed him with open arms. He began to school Wilfredo about the music industry. He taught him how to organize his songs and draw a crowd. After the birth of his second child, a boy, Xavier, in 2008, Wilfredo mastered his craft in songwriting and authenticated his blueprint. After finally deciding to leave his negative ways in the past, his past unfortunately caught up with him. Wilfredo was shot and stabbed due to an incident that had to do with a former friend at a
house party. Fortunately his wounds were not fatal. A few years later, in 2010, an old drug possession case came back to haunt Wilfredo after not reporting to court. He was arrested and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment in an upstate correctional facility, and upon release had to serve 2 years post –release supervision, which he is currently now serving. During his imprisonment, Wilfredo took the time to gather his thoughts and write a whole new arsenal of music, which he is now in the process of recording. Wilfredo has recorded with the likes of Cuban Link, Lord Tariq, Mysonne, Hell Rell, Bang Bang Boogie, and other fellow artists from the Bronx. Big Will released both the “Rebirth” and “BX We Go Hard” in 2009. He is getting ready to release 2 brand new mixtapes for 2012 entitled “Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way” and “Big Will Baby”, which will both be released on September 22, 2012. With his quick rhymes and vocabulary and a heart full of pain, you can
expect that everything from Big Will to be off the charts.
