OBITUARIES

Geatland — Grendel, 56, died Sunday, in his room inside of the lair he shared with family. He passed away from a bleed out following a sword wound. He leaves behind his mother, Grendel's Mom. He was born and raised in Geatland, he is the son of his mother and father, whom no one knows. Many will remembber him as a monster who "ate people" and "recked haboc among a village for 12 winters". But, he wasn't always a monster. In fact he was actually normal like you and me. He went to school, he had friends, and he ate regular food, too.

Most emotions are not inherited, but the are taught and formed to shaped into how a person (monster) acts. In Grendel's case while he was younger and went to Geatland Elementary School, he was picked on because of the horns on his head, his crooked teeth, his big nose, the fact that he didn't know his father, and his skin because it was hexed. So, over time he had developed a sense of loss, sadness, and anger. Also, he started to grow bigger and bigger and once while he was in class he was so hungry that his classmate who sat in front of him started to look like Grendel's favorite food, beef jerky. Then, out of no where Grendel scopped him up and swollowed him whole. Ever since there were rumors going around that he ate people, when it wasn't true. It was just an accident. He was actually a nice guy. To prove that, every winter for 12 years, him andhis mother would make fruit cake for the village, and he used to try to bring it to them, but indstead everyone would run away from him, and say he was recking havoc. All he did was try to be nice and everyone too his kindness and switched it all around. I belive that if we would have given him a shot he could have been a nice guy after all.

There are plans for a funeral service at this time.
