Goguen Ownership Group Hosts Tupelo Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
Goguen Ownership Group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony
Feb. 9 at 4:30 p. m. for the new 18,000-square-foot Tupelo, Mississippi, Planet Fitness ® club. Although Goguen Ownership Group franchisees Harry Dodich and Bob Shotlander could not be present for the event, franchisee Steve Goguen was in attendance to welcome a host of visitors. The attendees included the Tupelo Chamber of Commerce,“ The Biggest Loser” winner Danni Allen, landlord and Developer VM Cleveland and General Contractor Gerald Warfield.
“ The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a great finale to our week-long grand opening that concluded a very successful presale and a crazy first month being open doing over 1,500 new sales. Tupelo is a great city, and the people have welcomed Planet Fitness with open arms!” said Goguen.
A raffle was held in conjunction of the ceremony for 15 members to win the chance to work out with Allen that evening at 6 p. m. To ensure robust turnout for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event was promoted through various mediums, including radio, network television and direct mail campaigns. Goguen Ownership Group also ran a 10 day-long“ Grand Opening” sale with a $ 1 enrollment special. This promotion was backed via radio and television, highlighting“ The Biggest Loser” celebrity appearance. Pizza,
