member news greatly increases retention of the member,” said DeMartinis Jr. “Wesley Chapel is an anomaly. I challenged my team and they delivered. We did some innovative things on iPads, all of our clubs went paperless. We had iPads configured so members could sign up as well as sign in on Planet of Triumphs immediately at point of sale. As a result, we gave the member social media abilities and immediately gave trainers competition within the clubs. This became its own animal within our organization and when something like that happens, the staff members become engaged and have pride in what they are doing every single day. We have some great trainers and excellent participation in our classes; we have trainers walking members over to the iPads after a great 30-minute class to sign and write about the class on Planet of Triumphs. The members love telling the story because they are engaged, happy and experiencing results. I firmly believe this is just the beginning of the Planet of Triumphs program and I can see it being a game-changer for our brand and maintaining member retention if Officials from the city of Roswell and Fulton County attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. all the franchisees buy in. I challenged my team by saying we were just given a platform to show just how great our PE@ PF is working in Atlanta. I have to thank my team, my regional managers, all the trainers and staff for believing in what we preach and teach day in and day out; most importantly, following the model and for executing to perfection, we had the top five clubs in the system during this competition and all our clubs in the top 20 systemwide—it’s something our team is very proud of accomplishing,” he concluded.
