close , and I purchased his Florida house and found out quick where Chris gets his attention to detail , as the place was immaculate . When we moved in , I found out that he had paid all services six months in advance as that ’ s how he was . Every contractor , whether the pool guy or the maintenance man , respected and admired him , as did anyone that came in contact with him .
When he became ill and unable to travel , I bought his Limo Sprinter . About a month later , he texted me and asked if it was okay if he canceled the insurance . I laughed and said , ‘ You mean it didn ’ t come with insurance ?’ He said , ‘ I just wanted to make sure you were happy .’
Anytime you brought up Chris , he would glow with pride , as he idolized the executive and leader he had become . He always had a warm smile and would always pick up the tab .
The franchisees lost a mentor , I lost a friend , and Chris lost a father , but Denis is now without pain and is in an even better place . I will miss my bud and always cherish the talks and drinks we shared . May you rest in peace , my friend , until we meet again .”

“ I have so many great memories of Denis . He was so proud to be a PF franchisee and he was so very proud of Chris ! He would emphasize that he would never do anything that would make the CEO annoyed with him , and he made it clear that he never felt entitled to any special treatment . Denis ’ s eyes lit up when talking about his family . He shared some good words of wisdom . He could also party like a rock star . It was hysterical when he did karaoke at the Mohegan Sun . Denis sat across the aisle from me on a flight from Vegas , which became very turbulent . He realized I was on edge and scared . He talked to me the entire time which was very calming . I really appreciated that .
I will miss Denis . He touched my heart !”
