This year GDIF’ s annual“ festival within a festival” spills out onto traffic free streets with the largest and most intensive programme of street arts in the capital, featuring UK and international circus, theatre, dance, street games, cabaret, live art and mass participation. Highlights include a dance adventure around a bright pink vintage VW campervan, an ingenious mechanical interaction between a robotic machine and a percussionist, the unleashing of an apocalypse across the houses and streets of a model village and an investigation into the secret sounds and music lying beneath your feet. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to join in- including a Hokey Cokey in celebration of GDIF’ s 21st birthday.
